CLOWNS
Hella Clowns Hella Clowns was formed in 1954 with four Clowns. Ray Sullivan, Troy Woerner, Jamie Jamison and Lonnie Mulder who got together in Oak Cliff Texas and wrote the By-Laws for the Unit. They had set limit as to how many Clowns could be in the Unit. It was 32 Clowns and that was it. You had to get on a waiting list to be a Hella Clown. Hella Clowns has flourished throughout the year rising to the occasion for the hospitals as well as competing against their Brother Joey’s. Hella Clowns were hit hard with the loss of their Clown barn in 1999. Due to the fire that wiped everything out. But with the help of several Clowns and their undying passion to rebuild, a new barn was erected. Hella Clowns has years of trophy’s that went up in smoke, So when the new barn was ready, Hella Clowns of today went to work on stocking up with new trophies. With 1st, 2nd and 3rd place wins at all levels from Texas to wherever Imperial was. Raising money for the Hospital’s as well. Hella has Several Gold Nose’s won in 2004 and pride’s it self with the participation of its member’s young and old on the street in parades as well as fund raisers and Hospital Visit’s. Hella Clowns work hard for their unit to raise money for the Hospital and they Love the Competition against their fellow Shriners. But let’s not forget about our wonderful Hella Shrine Clown Lady’s. They work just as hard and we could not have made it with out them. From sewing our Costume’s, to making sure we get to where we are going. To help raising money and even feeding us when we hardly have time to stop and eat. Thanks for standing with us, and you have our undying Gratitude. We eat at 7:pm with the meeting to follow. So Come on out and as Chee-Toe always says, BAD BOYS, BAD BOYS, What-Cha gonna Do? WIN WIN WIN
