The Legion of Honor was formed in 1980 for Nobles who are, or previously have been, active in the Armed Forces

of the United States and its allies and presently has ninety-six members.

The Legion of Honor Unit primary objectives are:

To foster a spirit of Patriotism, Love of Country, and Flag.
To perpetuate the memory of our Comrades -in-Arms who made the Supreme Sacrifice by giving their lives for our country while members of the Armed Forces.
To strive for an increase in friendship and cooperation between the Legion of Honor and other units of Hella Temple.

The Unit has the responsibility to present the Flags at all Shrine Ceremonies and area Parades.

The Parades are really a lot of fun and the Unit has a Float for those members who, for various reasons, cannot carry a Flag or march. The Unit is also has an active Drill Team which competes at various events during the year.

So the Legion of Honor is the Unit within Hella Temple that "Carry the Flags" for Crippled Children!"

The Legion of Honor would like to extend an invitation for you to become a members of this Unit and for your lady to become

a member of the Legionettes.
