MINI
PATROL In 1968, Hella Shrine Temple granted a group of "daredevil" Shriners a charter to form a unit in the motor patrol. The unit, led by Captain John Lamar, Jr., called itself the Hella Mini Patrol and rode in Class I (0 c.c. to 90 c.c. with 15" wheels). Today, 34 years later, the Hella Mini Patrol unit is as strong as ever. We ride in 1981 Honda CT-70 Mini Trail motorcycles in parades and competitions. We compete under the rules and regulations of the Texas Shrine Motor Patrol Association. The unit meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Hella temple in the Mini Patrol unit room.
